Apprentices

In the fall of 1997, the Alabama Ballet initiated a new apprenticeship program. Twenty young dancers from around the United States including Chicago, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and New York were invited to train full time with the professional company.

Apprentices perform the roles of the corps de ballet and understudy principal and soloist roles in preparation for their professional careers.

For more information, call the Ballet office at 205-322-4300 or e-mail JoelleLinn@alabamaballet.org.
