Adult Classes

Flexible times and days are now offered for adult ballet, jazz, and pilates classes at the Alabama Ballet School. Whether you're a serious student or someone looking for fun, different extra-curricular activity, the state's premiere professional ballet company provides quality training to all. Morning, evening and weekend classes are available at the Alabama Ballet School's state-of-the-art facility on the Southside in the Lakeview district. Call us today to register at 205-322-1874.

Summer Tap Classes

Join us each Monday in June at 6:00 p.m. for adult tap! Three levels available: Beginner, Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced. Classes are taught by Alabama Ballet's own Tracey Alvey, Roger Van Fleteren and company member Jamorris Rivers. Cost is $10 per class. Call 322-1874 for more information.

Pilates Summer Schedule

Classes will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

The Monday evening class will begin June 8th.

No Pilates class on the following dates: June 1, June 29, June 30, July 2

 

Adult Class Instructors

Classes Offered

Minimum age for all adult classes is 16. Adults typically range in age from mid-20's to mid-50's.

Beginning Adult Ballet

For the novice adult

Thursday, 6:45-8:15 PM

Beginning/Intermediate Adult Ballet

For the adult who has had some experience

Monday/Wednesday 6:45-8:15 PM

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet

For the adult with some experience

T/Th 9:45-11:15 AM

Tuesday 6:45 - 8:15 PM

Saturday 10:30AM - noon

Jazz/Tap

Monday 7:00-8:00 PM (Jazz only) - Jazz classes will resume in the Fall

Wednesday 5:30-6:30 PM (Tap only) - Summer tap classes begin on Monday, June 1 at 6:00 p.m. and will be held each Monday in June. Cost is $10 per class.

Pilates

T/Th 5:30-6:30 PM

Ballroom

Tuesday 7:00 - 8:00 PM - Classes will resume in the Fall
