Volunteer Support Groups
The Alabama Ballet is fortunate to have four strong support groups that help provide much needed volunteer support and contributions.
The Friends of the Alabama Ballet
The Friends group is open to any individual who wishes to take an active part in Ballet activities requiring volunteer support. The group meets periodically during the season at the Alabama Ballet Center for Dance, 2726 1st Avenue South. Primary activities include Ballet Boutique, Green Room, and assistance with pre-performance activities.

Ballet Guild of Birmingham

The Ballet Guild of Birmingham is an invitational group that raises funds to support the Alabama Ballet through its annual charity ball, the Ball of Roses held the first Saturday of June. For more information, visit the Ballet Guild's website at www.balletguild.com.
The Women's Committee
The Ballet Women's Committee is an invitational group that raises funds to support the Alabama Ballet through an annual fall event featuring a silent auction, fashion show and luncheon. The Ballet Women's Committee also hosts an annual charity ball, the Poinsettia Ball, in December.
