I invite you to share a ballet season of greatness. Alabama Ballet's 26th season celebrates excellence by bringing to Alabama audiences several achievements of enormous significance. Opening the 2007-2008 season will be the world-renowned Mikhail Baryshnikov and his Hell's Kitchen Dance Tour. In October, Where the Wild Things Are, Maurice Sendak's enchanting children's book, comes to the stage with life-sized costumes and fanciful sets. Alabama Ballet will also present the famed George Balanchine's The Nutcracker™. Alabama Ballet is 1 of only 6 companies in the world currently licensed to perform this extraordinary choreographic masterpiece. The season comes to a close with two of the classics - Romeo & Juliet and Coppélia.
